WL 600 – Shredder for wood waste in small workshops

The WL 600 comes as standard with a powerful electric motor that drives the rotor via a durable gearbox and drive belt. This combination ensures consistently high shredding performance – ideal for continuous operation in woodworking businesses.

The ram, which moves horizontally back and forth via a hydraulic system, feeds the material to the rotor. With WEIMA, it can be controlled or cycled fully automatically, depending on the load. It can also be operated manually if required. For even more aggressive feeding, we recommend additional serrated plates and hold-down devices, which keep even bulky and long parts securely in place. A shock valve fitted to the hydraulic cylinder absorbs any impacts from the drawer, thereby ensuring a longer service life.

Vibration-damping machine feet ensure stability and help to significantly reduce disruptive vibrations in the surrounding area. As the machine does not need to be anchored to the floor, installation is particularly flexible and convenient.

Adjust the screen to suit your needs. The smaller the hole diameter, the finer the shredded material that is discharged. Screens can be easily swapped and are bolted in place as standard.

Depending on your requirements and the frame design (raised machine with a conveyor belt opening or side outlet), you have the option of discharging the shredded material via air extraction, a discharge screw or a conventional conveyor belt. Integrating the sensitive components of a hydraulic system into the machine frame offers many advantages. Not only is the system protected from dust, dirt and other external factors such as the weather, but it also makes the machine even more compact when installed. A separate service access panel ensures easy access for maintenance.
