For over 40 years, we have produced shredding technology for large industry and small craftsman shops alike.Discover more
WEIMA shreds materials like wood, plastic, paper, metal, and waste into a homogenous size.
Waste materials at their best. We turn paper, biomass, wood, and metal into highly compressed briquettes.Discover more
By briquetting waste material, you can reduce the volume by up to 90 percent.
With the presses of the PUEHLER series, WEIMA offers sustainable system solutions for the disposal and recycling of labels, packaging and rework material.Discover more
We drain filled and empty packaging such as plastic bottles and cans, TetraPaks, and bottle labels.

Since 1980 we are always striving to find the perfect shredding solution for our customers. Through meticulous research and development, WEIMA shredders, briquette presses, packaging and drainage presses are not only becoming more productive, but also more energy efficient.
As a leader in the shredding industry, we see it as our duty to do our part to keep our planet clean. Recycling and the efficient use of resources are woven into our corporate responsibility. As we always say: #destroyresponsibly
We believe that our customers shouldn’t have to settle for mediocrity. Instead of compromising, we will determine the machine that is right for processing the specific type of waste. Through this process, we can find a shredding solution that gives our customers the highest degree of satisfaction.
We are here to help! Our global customer service technicians are there when you need them, and they will bend over backwards to make things right for our customers. That gives our customers one less thing to worry about so they can focus on what really matters: their production.
Sustainable. Many want to be. Very few really are. The fact is: Without shredding machines, further processing, use or disposal of residual materials becomes extremely difficult. And since there are many different types of wood waste, WEIMA is presenting no less than five machines at its nearly 100 sqm booth in Nuremberg.
More autonomy thanks to a WEIMA WLK 4 shredder: In the manufacturing of clothes hangers, the Colombian company Plásticos Ojara benefits from the advantages of internal recycling: Reduced purchase of raw materials, lower costs for intralogistics, lower disposal costs, cleaner store floor.
At IFAT 2022, the recycling specialist from Ilsfeld will be exhibiting two large shredders – the FineCut 3000 single-shaft secondary shredder and a new pre-shredder with two-shaft technology. The WEIMA M8.28 pre-shredder will be celebrating its major premiere in Munich.
Marcel Alberts has declared war on so-called Ghost Nets – left-over, floating fishing nets and ropes that pollute the world’s oceans. Using state-of-the-art technology for plastics recycling, the aim of his Dutch company Healix is to turn this linear waste into a product on site and create a circular economy. At the forefront of the process chain is a WEIMA W5.22 single-shaft shredder.
Repurposing plastic waste where it’s created can provide a new income stream for businesses while eliminating the need to ship waste materials across the ocean. Fiberon has embraced this process, proving that being attentive to the environment does not always have to be a financial burden.
The new WEIMA PUEHLER C.200 hydraulic press for chips turns loose shavings from CNC milling, turning or drilling into compact discs. Coolants can be recovered. Waste volume is reduced significantly.
See for yourself the full spectrum of WEIMA’s shredding capabilities. From the typical applications like wood, paper, and plastic to the extraordinary applications like kevlar or paper money.
Our media center is growing regularly, giving you the opportunity to see our full capabilities in action! If you want to see how deodorant containers, wood shavings, cigarettes, or elephant grass look once briquetted, this is the place where you’ll find just that.
Whether it's customer installations or trials in our technical center – if you are interested in draining and compressing empty or filled packaging, beverage cans or even labels, bottle caps and tags, you will find the right solution with WEIMA
