During milling, turning, drilling or sawing metal and plastics, inevitably large quantities of residuals are produced in the form of chips. These are generally not treated further – and usually are dripping with emulsion, oil or coolant when sold. Handling is correspondingly time-consuming and disposal is expensive. With the newly developed WEIMA PUEHLER C.200 chip press, the drainage and compaction of loose chips is possible in just one automated work step. Liquids can be recovered in the process. Best of all: The compact machine can be placed directly at the chip conveyor next to the machining center.
