As the packaging industry evolves, so does WEIMA! Experience the future of packaging recycling firsthand at PACK EXPO 2024, where cutting-edge technology and industry expertise converge. Join us in Chicago, IL, from November 3rd to the 6th to see the next evolution of recycling for the packaging industry.
At PACK EXPO 2024, WEIMA is proud to show off its exceptional line of shredders and drainage presses that demonstrate efficiency and power.
The G.200 drainage press will be showcased at PACK EXPO 2024, providing attendees with a firsthand look at its ease of operation and ability to enhance packaging processes. WEIMA will additionally have a V-rotor on display, which will sit inside of a shredder body, to illustrate what defines our machines and distinguishes us from other manufacturers. This is a unique opportunity to see a powerful rotor up close!
Packaging comes in many shapes and sizes. Luckily, so do WEIMA machines! From single-shaft to four-shaft shredders and various sizes of drainage presses, our diverse line of machinery reflects our dedication to sustainable solutions, ensuring top performance and reliability in managing packaging materials for the future.
WEIMA shredders can be customized for every application– it’s our goal to provide the right machine for the job! Shredders can be equipped with various rotors and knives for maximum shredding power. For many packaging materials, the WEIMA V-rotor is the perfect match.
WEIMA is renowned for its high-quality shredders, which excel in precision, power, and efficiency. Beyond shredding, we also specialize in manufacturing drainage presses. These machines compact empty or filled bottles, cans, or bags into disc-shaped forms, recovering fluids for quick and easy cleaning and recycling.
The WEIMA G.200, featured at PACK EXPO 2024, can compress various types of packaging material into discs with a diameter of 200 mm. It leaves a residual moisture content of 3-30% depending on the material. Whether it’s flexible plastic, cardboard, or aluminum, this drainage unit is perfect for various packaging and beverage recycling applications.
WEIMA offers smaller and larger drainage presses, like the WEIMA E.200 and WEIMA G.300!
These machines work similarly, as the hydraulic press compacts the material, draining it of its contents and thus creating a disc. The E.200 and G.200 eject discs that measures 200 mm in diameter, whereas the G.300 ejects 300 mm discs. The separated material can be reused or disposed of, while the packaging material can be stored or recycled!
As the world innovates, so do we.
