Twin-shaft shredder

Primary crusher
Screw pre-shredders such as the WEIMA wood shredder are specially designed for the pre-shredding of bulky and large-volume materials such as waste wood, pallets and production waste. At the heart of these machines is a slowly rotating screw that grips, breaks up and coarsely shreds the material. Screw pre-shredders are used particularly in the wood processing industry and in biomass and recycling plants to prepare materials for downstream processes such as secondary shredding or energy recovery. Their robust design, high throughput and ability to reliably process even bulky materials make them the ideal solution for pre-shredding large volumes of material.
