WEIMA America, Inc., a leading name in size reduction machinery, is set to take center stage as a "Featured Partner" in the annual Woodworking Manufacturing Month (WWMM), a month-long industry celebration slated for October, 2023.
Woodworking Manufacturing Month is a collaborative effort orchestrated by the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) on behalf of industry stalwarts, the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA), and the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA). This initiative aims to foster knowledge-sharing, industry growth, and community engagement.
As a longstanding member of WMIA, WEIMA has been a consistent presence at IWF for decades. The biennial IWF exhibition, held every other August, has been a significant platform for the company. WEIMA eagerly anticipates the next edition in 2024. However, during the off-season, the company is thrilled to champion the cause of size reduction machinery within the woodworking industry.
Woodworking Manufacturing Month serves as a platform for manufacturers to showcase the advantages of their machinery to the wider industry. This celebration also extends its support to a noble cause, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Established in the wake of the tragic events of 9/11 in New York City in 2001, this nonprofit organization is on a mission to "do good." Their initiatives include providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and constructing specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Tunnel to Towers is also deeply committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and ensuring that America never forgets the events of September 11, 2001.
