Cooperations
The classic Woodchuck can be used for all kinds of wood waste. The popularity of this shredder assures high reliability at a competitive price-to-performance ratio. The grinder sets itself apart from other machines of its size and type due to its robust construction, giving it a longer life cycle. The shredded wood can be discharged into an air conveyor or onto a traditional conveyor. The profiled rotor is made of solid material and mounted on stable rotor bearings. Special blade holders are welded into milled blade pockets around its circumference. The cutting knives are set into these and bolted in place. This ensures quick and easy blade changing.
This machine comes with a V-rotor design, ideal for tearing up wood blocks or small scrap pieces. The bolt-on screen design makes it easy to change but sturdy during operation. Screen sizes come in various designs and should be selected depending on the material being processed and the desired throughput.
Woodchuck machines have a small footprint, making them easy to integrate into operations with minimal space.
You can use a screw auger to discharge shredded material, or they can be hooked up to a pre-existing air system through the pneumatic discharge connection feature.
Pine wood end cuts are an ideal application for this WEIMA shredder.
This gearbox is manufactured by WEIMA in our production facilities in Germany. It comes standard on Woodchuck machines. The electromechanical drive and its powerful electric motor are protected against shocks and interference thanks to the built-in vibration damper. This minimizes wear and extends the life of the machine.
