The sales force at WEIMA America is growing. Its industry reach is broadening with the addition of metal briquetting and waste-to-energy solutions, and its dealer network is spreading throughout North America and Canada.
The size reduction machinery manufacturer has acquired a 24,000 ft2 building and approximately two more acres of land next to its original facility just south of Charlotte, North Carolina. This new building will house the technical department’s offices as well as a newly upgraded parts warehouse and manufacturing shop. The current building will continue to facilitate the accounting, marketing, sales, and administrative departments.
Phase one of the construction is on schedule to be finished by early June, 2017, and will total 41,700 ft2 upon completion.
